For the First Time.

Today was my first time ever wearing boots with a skirt. I have always been jealous of people who could pull off the look and said it would never work for me. Well, when I had this outfit on this morning and added the belt, I knew the color of these boots was perfect for the oufit. So I decided I would just try it, nothing else, just try and then take them off. Then I decided it actually wasn't too bad. I tried on heels and thought the outfit lacked. So I then faced a huge dilemma with about 1.5 minutes to decide; boots or no boots? I went downstairs, took my outfit pictures and decided I wasn't feeling brave enough for the boots. Then I decided I was feeling brave but brought along my heels- just incase. Well, I am so glad I wore them because they ended up being a huge hit and I didn't even need to get my heels out!

Does anything else have things they were scared to wear for the first time?

Skirt: Goodwill $4.99
Sweater: Nordstrom, BP $10
Skirt: Forever21 $7
Belt: Goodwill $2
Boots: Charlotte Russe $15
Necklace: JcPennys $6?

Here is the outfit that I almost wore before I became brave

What do you think? Boots or no boots? Be honest!

  3. I like the boots better! Of course, I love boots, so that *may* have something to do with it. ;) But boots and skirts are a great combo - you should do it more often!

  12. I think the boots really make the outfit pop! It was a brave choice, but a beautiful one! I am a little afraid to pair boots with pencil skirts but you did it beautifully!
